Mutations
Hi. want to get special body parts?
Single Long Horn
You can make your Devoma horny but only once. Can be as long as one wants. Retractable Claws
Includes finger-pads, only on hands. For improved impatient table tapping. Fangs
Can poke out from between the lips. Take your nail-chewing to the next level. Long Tongue
Too lazy to blink? Lick your eyeballs instead! (Or your friend's ice cream when they are not looking.) Smooth eyes
As smooth as a Wurthan brain, or so someone that was nowhere near a Wurthan once said. The sclera (white of the eye) is not visible. Pupil can be included. Neckmouth
Not to mix up with mouthneck, which is the neck of your mouthhead. |
Ram Horns
Ram horns are very expressive, in the sense that you can ram someone to express your disagreement. Third eye
Vision in the future not included. Short Fur
Can be in patches on the skin or all over the body. Finally a way to keep the people with allergies out of your life! Light Trail
Blotches of monochrome light follows the Devoma around. No matter their color, trying to nibble on them will leave you with a faint taste of lemon. Jailbroken eyes
Allows for the sclera and/or the iris to be a different color than the standard black and/or white. Show off your biohacking skills! Tentacle Strands
Two strands of your Devoma's hair becomes tentacles. Imagine how practical those are for holding cups... |
Imp Horns
You can make your Devoma horny but only a little. Can't be taller than the Devoma's forehead. Small Antlers
You can make your Devoma horny, but it's complicated. Each horn can have between 2 and 4 points and can't be taller that the Devoma's whole hand (if they have hands...) Horse Hooves
For the lazy artists that want to avoid drawing a single line. Fish Tail
The caudal fin of a fish (any fish) has been added at the end of the Devoma's tail... sounds like fishy business. Hook Claw
A curved claw that manifests on the foot's thumb of a Devoma. Very danger. Slit Pupil
Gives a more predatory look to your Devoma. Or alluring. Depends on whether or not you are into that. |
Scale Skin | $3
Before you ask, yes, it does faintly smell like fish. Don't listen to that one dude that says they are dragon scales. That dude is lying. Chitin Skin | $7
The Devoma's skin becomes hard and segmented like an arthropod's exoskeleton. Fins | $5
Portable fans for warm days. Just don't stick them into power outlets. (Don't be like Henrik.) Glittery | $5
Dazzling glitter seems to be permanently applied to the Devoma's skin and/or hair. Those with this mutation are said to get everywhere and stay inside carpets for years. (Picture from an ASMR video.) More mouths | $4
Full mouths, completed with a tongue and teeth, appear anywhere on the Devoma's head, neck, torso, and thighs. No more of that fake ventriloquist sh*t! |
Long Fur | $4
It's length can vary on the body. Now the fur actively chases those goddamn allergic people: natural selection at its finest. Glowy | $4
An part of you can glow now. You can turn it off at will but why do that when you can become the biggest, most annoying glowbug ever? Feathers | $4
Doesn't include wings, but birds never needed those to look extra fancy. Please keep feathery Devomas away from me, I'm allergic. Mother-of-Pearl | $5
Everyone always think that they are going to look like the blue emperor butterfly when taking this trait... and no one dares to tell them that they will most likely look like a puddle of petrol mixed with water... awkward... Runner Feet | $3
Those feet, with their infamous lack of hooves to cover the tip, makes a lot of other Devomas uneasy when they see it for the first time (but there is always that ONE BLOKE that think that they are the coolest thing since sliced bread.) |
Eyes! | $5
Eyes! Eyes! Eyes! Eyes! Eyes! Eyes! Eyes! Eyes! Eyes! Eyes! Eyes! Eyes! Eyes! Spikes | $5
Goes on the body. The good side of this mutation is that you never have to hug anyone ever again. Gills | $3
Gills can be placed anywhere on the face, neck, body, and tail. They can also double as vents for a trail mutation. Your Devoma now has extra holes on their body - yay! Stitches and Stuffing | $5
The Devoma now has stitches on their skin. That mutation can include cotton-like stuffing seeping from tears. It's an original way of signaling that your Devoma has abandonment issues to everyone they meet. |
Shaped Pupils | $3
Any solid shape goes. Spades are the perfect complementary shape for a good poker face. Blinkless | $3
The Devoma's eye bulges out and becomes rounder, much like a fish's eye would. They also lose the ability to properly blink, possibly gaining a transparent eyelid. Yes, it is as creepy as it sounds. Antennas | $4
Goes on the head... Hey! Don't touch them! That's rude! Tentacle hair | $7
... Do the curtains match the drapes? Gelatinous Hair | $7
It looks like something that would drip right off the Devoma's head, yet it does not by sheet strength of will. It can be applied to other hair mutations. |
Animal Ears | $3
Changes the ears of your Devoma to a pair of animal ears of your choice and allows you to place them higher on the head. Now, roar! ("Meow!") Many Fangs | $3
All of the Devoma's teeth sharpen into dangerous-looking points. There may be several rows of them if you want to increase the nope factor. Galaxy Eyes | $5
Should look like something you could find in outer space. Now that gives a whole new meaning to "starry-eyed". Multiple pupils | $3
(Combine with Smooth Eyes for compound eyes.) Holes! Holes everywhere! You see them! They are following you. Proboscis | $3
The tongue is hollowed out and can act as a straw. Now, imagine getting a piece of ice in there. You're welcome. |
Horny | $5
Goes on the head. Can be any horn you wish to draw or as many horns as you would like. [Insert another ahahah horny funny joke here.] Third Eye ++++ | $3
Limited to 4 extra eyes on the face. Redundant if you already have the Eyes! mutation and cannot be stacked with Third Eye. Wire hair | $7
Your Devoma is now a walking hazard. Congratulations! You must be so proud. Multiple tongues | $4
Multilingual! |
Fish-bone tail | $5
Segmented and spiked to various degrees. Popular belief says that bad swimmers pick that tail but that it brings good luck when dipped in water. Exposed Battery | $5
The core battery part in the tail is exposed and glows when it is full of energy. You can touch. You won't get electrocuted, I promise. Do it. Conch Tail | $5
Irregular ridges appear on your Devoma's tail, making them look like the shell of a conch. It is now a lot more shell-tered. Branching Spine | $7
The spinal ridge becomes extremely accentuated, with extensions poking out from the side on the tail and back. Spinal Spinal Ridge | $3
What if you had a spine, but it was a spine... Only applies to the ridge, maybe the top of the Devoma's tail, but the spinal ridge imitates the form of the Devoma's actual spine bones beneath it. |
Bud Bulbs | $5
Rounded, glass-like lights are embedded in the tail and spinal ridge of the Devoma. They look uncomfortably like big, empty bug eyes when they are turned off. Propeller Tail | $5
Liftoff! BRRBRBRBBRBRBRBRBBRBRBSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH! Curled Tail | $3
The ridge on the top of the tail becomes very pronounced and curls around the end, for an all around well-rounded curvature. Caged Tail | $7
The spinal ridge is now forming full circles around the tail, almost mimicking the shape of a second rib-cage. This mutation is sometimes used as a stepping stone for those that wish to attain the Eel Dragon mutation. |
Double Tails | $7
A Xoov once said "double the tails, double the mischief. That's where they store it." They weren't technically right but you can't blame a Xoov for not understanding biology. Segmented Tail | $3
Your Devoma feels a bit more... divided... split... but in a good way. Gelatinous Tail | $5
The tail's skin becomes transparent, revealing the battery inside (that glows when full!) Your Devoma just made sure to be extra squishy for when the time to be squished comes. Whip Tail | $3
Smack! The spinal ridge of your Devoma is now extended beyond the tail's main mass. It can even extend beyond the maximum length of a Devoma's tail |
Wings | $10
It it's got bones in it and allows you to fly, it falls under this trait. Except that Devoma can already fly so it's all for show. Gelatinous Limb | $4
Can only be applied to existing limbs (any limbs), and it retains its original shape and mass. You're not sure you want to know where the bones went. Blob Limbs | $8 or $4
Existing limbs can now take any shape the Devoma pleases. This mutation is half-price if they already have Gelatinous arms. Indulge in your inability to draw arms as much as you please. Grabby Grabbers | $5
Perfect to grabby-grab your favorite snack. Always manifests on the wrist of an arm. |
Bug Wings | $10
The cooler wings. They may come as sets of four because a lot of bug wings come in fours. Harpy Wings | $5
Like wings, except that it replaces the arms. I really don't know what to say to you. What do you want from me? A feathery armpit joke? Crab Arms | $5
One or two existing arm gain a crab pincer. Crabs would probably look a lot friendlier if they didn't have those. By taking them for yourself, you're actually helping crabs make friends! Yay! Crushers | $5
Two of your Devoma's forearms and arms are now larger, almost resembling a bear's paw. Regardless of whether or not your Devoma has Retractable Claws, their nails are now replaced with impressive-looking talons. (You probably should file that down.) |
Arms | $7
What do you do when you need a hand but are too proud to ask for help? Easy! Just grow a new one! Tentacles | $7
Can be jellyfish arms, squid tentacles, octopus arms or even slime tentacles and may come by sets of four. It's the most wholesome of all the mutations, I promise. Disembodied Hand | $4 (each)
Your Devoma decided to chop off (and disown) their hand for getting caught one to many times in someone's pockets, replacing it with a new one. Sadly, that floating hand follows them anyway and is still up to no good. |
Dark Matter | $10
Black, menacing goop seeps out of the Devoma which they levitate by using their anti-gravity powers. It's not actual dark matter. Dark matter is supposed to be invisible. This is just edgy. Object Trail | $10
The object trail is filled with one category of objects that your Devoma would want to carry with them at all time. Its best usage is to fill it with food. If you disagree... well, I guess it's your right to be wrong. That, or knives. Cloud Trail | $10
Rather than risk being let down by cloudy weather, your Devoma chose to always know in advance but never see the sun again. Can included an illusion of snow, rain, or lightning. Eyes... | $10
"Cain walked down the tower steps, alone/And once in the dark of that eternal tomb/The eye stared back from the end of the room." (Victor Hugo, "La Conscience"). Immaterial, eye-shaped forms float around the Devoma. |
Arora Borealis | $10
Light effects float arount the Devoma, shimmering, glittering, glowing... Perfect for starting a moth collection! Fire Trail | $10
Fire, of any color, seem to be floating around the Devoma. This effect is purely visual. You can't set anything on fire. Sadly. Smoke Trail | $10
Smoke bombs might not be the most efficient way of escaping your problems... but they sure are among the most stylish! Anyway, your Devoma can do it whenever now. Bubble Trail | $10
Illusionairy soap bubbles float around your Devoma, reminding them of the simple joys in life. Nebula Trail | $10
Nebulas are where stars are born. This makes this trail perfect for Devomas with delusions of grandeur. |
Halo | $5 + $1 + $1...
A halo around the Devoma or one of its body parts. Stackable. For those that like drawing perfect ovals (or that like the circle tool.) Sparkle Trail | $10
Stupendous! Stylish! Sensational! Splendacious! Sightly! Supreme! Stellar! Scintillating! Sparkles! Ghost Trail | $15
As it turns out, the legends about the souls of dead sailors being trapped in hyperspace are true. I'm sure that your Devoma would have loved to know before finding themselves stuck with a bunch of whispering ghosts following them. Lightning Trail | $10
Sparks zap around your Devoma. Some say it's Joule, others that it's a big Watt-ever. Jellyfish Trail | $10
A jellfish (or any bell-like, transparent structure) surrounds the Devoma, giving them some personal space. It's... completely illusory, right? It's not dangerous if I touch those filaments... right? |
